As of now, the Mawanga clinic is funded only through October and their stock of medicine is running low. To fund 2 nurses averages out to $300.00 a month. (Not including medicine costs)
Q: What will it take?
A: Recruit a floor of nurses to sponsor the clinic. 10 nurses would only need to give around $40.00 a month each!
A: Find organizations who donate medicines to Uganda
A: Hold a fundraiser to make a large amount of $$ to keep it going through the end of the year.
A: Raise awareness of these needs by putting the story in newspapers, online medical journals, emails to friends and family, etc.
